Facebook News Feed Preferences

News Feed is an integral part of the Facebook experience and the company certainly knows it. That’s why Facebook keeps on pushing updates to the News Feed in a bid to make it more relevant for the users. Now the social networking site is going a step further by allowing users to customize the way stories are shown for their account. On the latest version of Facebook app you can access the new ‘News Feed Preferences’ page. On this page you will have the tools that let you Prioritize, Unfollow, Reconnect and Discover sources you are following. You can find these new tools under ‘More’ section of the Facebook application.
The Prioritize option enables users to choose pages and users whose posts will be shown at the top of their News Feed, so they don’t miss anything posted by their favorite pages or friends.
The Unfollow page lets users hide stories from pages or users they don’t want to delete from their account but also not want them to appear in the News Feed.
Reconnect page lets you re-follow pages or friends that you have unfollowed previously, making them appear in your News Feed once again.
Another option on the News Feed Preferences page lets you discover new pages that you can start following.
